Valentina Ruiz is a Cuban-American journalist based in London.
She’s lived and worked in Miami, New York City, and Paris, and currently resides in London. Her work encompasses both journalism and fashion and explores topics such as design, sustainability, and their global impact. Her works have been featured in V Magazine, L’OFFICIEL, CR Fashion Book, The New York Daily News and Cooper Squared, among others. During her undergraduate degree at New York University’s prestigious Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, she served as Editor in Chief at the Future Fashion Group, a magazine focused on sustainable fashion. Valentina was also an editor in the Esferas Undergraduate Journal, where she fostered and encouraged the creativity of Latino students at New York University.
During her time studying for her MA in Fashion Journalism at Central Saint Martins, Valentina wrote for several reputable fashion magazines, started her own podcast, Fashion Cosmos, and served as her year’s Student Ambassador.
Today, Valentina writes for L’OFFICIEL as well as freelances for other publications.
